The Perfect Lobster Roll

This recipe yields the finest Lobster Rolls you will ever try!

Ingredients for 3-4 Rolls

  • 1 lb bag of cooked lobster meat
  • 3-4 brioche hot dog buns (or any soft roll)
  • 2 table spoons of browned unsalted butter
  • 1 table spoon softened butter
  • 2 table spoons mayonnaise
  • half stick celery (finely chopped)
  • 1 tspn horseradish
  • 1 tspn lemon juice
  • 1 tspn Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash hot sauce to taste
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method

  • Defrost the lobster meat and allow to get to room temperature, chop into thumb sized pieces and place in a bowl
  • Take 2 spoons of butter and brown in a small pan add to the lobster mix
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and combine
  • Butter the inside of the rolls and fry butter side down in a frying pan until the insides turn golden brown
  • Spoon the Lobster mix into the rolls and serve with a wedge of lemon and potato chips
  • Sprinkle with chopped chives and paprika - optional
